To remove a door handle without any visible screws start by prying off the cover plate by inserting a flathead screwdriver in the notch on the side of the plate.
After the 2 bolts are removed begin removing the panel by pulling around the edges popping the panel off its plastic posts which are behind the panel.
Sometimes the handle itself is fine but there is a problem with the door latch assembly that prevents the door from shutting and locking properly.
Detach the door handle trim piece and disconnect the linkage rod.
If you don t see a notch and the cover plate is round try turning the plate counterclockwise to remove it.
If not rotate the faceplate until the underlying screws are accessible and use a phillips head screwdriver to remove them.
Once triggered the lever or lock trim can be removed from the door.
Slide the cosmetic faceplate away from the door.
Once removed you will find 2 small bolts inside that need to be removed.
It is a very cheaply made piece that the door opening rod fits into.
If any screws are exposed during this process remove them to release the lock and remove it from the door.
Answerfirst remove the inside door handle plastic handle that you pull the door closed with when sitting inside not the handle that you pull to open the door.
