I have a ring 2 that is just over 2 years old.
Ring doorbell power source says battery.
I ve pushed the button a couple of times but the battery continues to show low and is discharging.
1st time that has ever happened so i looked at the device health and it showed the power source was battery and not hardwired.
Called ring several times they just sent me a replacement.

When i bring up device health it shows power source hardwired status 4 what is wrong with my rin.
The main page for the doorbell in the ring app will always show battery for the first item meaning the battery status but if you go to device health it should show hardwired as the power source.
I just installed a brand new ring door bell 2 and it is complaining that the battery is low.
Purchased the 18v 500mah power supply from amazon and it worked for a few minutes showing hardwired and light ring lit up but then it went back to battery status and no lit ring.
